Fonts are sometimes replaced or left blank when PDF Pro doesn’t recognize the font being used in the document.
This sometimes happens when a PDF document uses a different name attribute for a font than in PDF Pro.
In this case, the easiest fix is to replace the font within the PDF document with one available in PDF Pro.
How to change the font in PDF Pro:
- Click on the "Edit" tab, and press “Edit text”.
- The "Text Settings" tab will now be showing.
- Use your mouse to click-and-drag to highlight the text that you want to edit. Then, select the new font from the dropdown located in the "Font" section.
