There are two scenarios when editing text in a PDF:
1. You wish to edit the text that's already on a PDF.
or
2. There's no text and you wish to add some.
We'll explore both of these scenarios.
How to edit text in a PDF document:
- Open your PDF file in PDF Pro.
- Click on the "Edit" tab, and press “Edit text”.
- With the text editing cursor activated, simply click on the text you wish to edit, and start editing.
Note: Text must be editable for this method to work. Editing images of text will not work. If your PDF document contains images of text that you'd like to make editable, please sign up for a "PDF Pro + OCR" account to edit text from images.
How to add text to a PDF document:
- Open your PDF file in PDF Pro.
- Click on the "Edit" tab, and press “Add text”.
- With the text editing cursor activated, simply click where you'd like to add text, and start typing!
