The text is blurry, why can't I edit the text in my PDF file?

Typically, being unable to select, cut, search, or otherwise edit text in your PDF means that the document has been made from an image file (usually, it was scanned this way). 

You will need a PDF program that has Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology in order to edit text during such situations. 

Currently, OCR is available is all users with a “PDF Pro + OCR” account. If your subscription does not have OCR and you’d like to add it, visit the Settings in your Account.
