Sometimes when our customers export their PDF files to Word, they can’t edit the text in their new Word file.
This happens when the original document was scanned (and converted to PDF) using a scanner that did not use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology. The end result is a PDF containing an image of the document rather than the document itself.
Note: OCR is a technology that can identify letters and numbers in an image, and transform them into selectable, editable, and searchable text.
OCR is available to all users with a “PDF Pro + OCR” subscription. If your subscription does not have OCR and you would like to add it, you’ll have to upgrade your subscription. This can be done from the Settings menu in your Account.

you will not let me open PDF PRO I paid you for one year
Two problems:
1. I can't edit or add text to a PDF File. I was able to do this 6 months ago but can't do it now.
2. I"m trying to create a PDF copy from a Word document (something I did many times with PDF Pro in the past) but I keep getting this message
The file in question is not in use - I've closed everything.
These problems are extremely irritating. And a phone conversation would be very helpful.
