PDF Pro allows you to scan individual pages to PDF as an image (unless you have PDF Pro + OCR).
Optical Character Recognition
Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is a technology that allows a PDF converter to convert files from images created by a scanner into a PDF file with editable text.
Without OCR, the scanned PDF is just an image of the document, rather than a fully editable document.
Fortunately, PDF Pro has OCR features for your convenience!
Please note that OCR is only available to users with a “PDF Pro + OCR” subscription. If your PDF Pro account does not have OCR and you’d like to add it, please upgrade your account. You can do so by visiting you account setting.
How to Scan to PDF:
- Press the "Scan" button located in the "Create" tab.
- Specify your scanner, properties, and output details, then click "Scan".
